AVOIDANCE OF CONFLICTS OF INTERESTUnder applicable personal standards attorneys are prohibited from representing conflicting interests (§43a para. 4, § 45 of the Federal Attorneys’ Act (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, BRAO). Prior to accepting a case the firm therefore always reviews whether there is a conflict of interest.

MEDIATIONIf disputes arise between attorneys and their clients, either party may request that the dispute be mediated before the Bar Association in Frankfurt am Main (in accordance with § 73 para. 2 no. 3 in conjunction with § 73 para. 5 the Federal Attorneys’ Act (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, BRAO)).
